FIVE-WEEK COURSE TO HELP STEPFAMILIES

"Strengthening Stepfamilies," a five-part program to help stepfamily members achieve rewarding family lives, will be held Wednesday evenings at Catholic Charities of Southwestern Virginia Inc., 820 Campbell Ave. S.W., in Roanoke.

The classes, which cost $65, will begin April 8 and will run through May 13. Licensed professional counselors Laurel E. Martin and Ed Fristoe will conduct the programs, which will feature readings, discussions and at-home activities.
