OBIT - WRIGHT, J.

WRIGHT, JANET J. - Janet Jackson Wright, 42, of Richmond died March 23, 1992 at St. Marys Hospital in Richmond. She was born in Radford, grew up in Bristol and was a 1967 graduate of Virginia High School. Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Longwood College and taught at Jackson Davis Elementary School in Henrico County for 20 years. She was a member of Welborne United Methodist Church and the Westhampton Junior Woman's Club in Richmond. She is survived by her parents, Fred and Eleanor Jackson of Bristol; and one sister, Jane Jackson Merrick of Miami Lakes, Fla. A memorial service will be held in Richmond at Welborne United Methodist Church. An additional memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at State Street United Methodist Church in Bristol officiated by Rev. Nelson Woody and Rev. Rhonda Cooper. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the church parlor. Interment will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or State Street United Methodist Church.
