OBIT - DICKERSON, T.

DICKERSON, THOMAS J. Thomas Joseph Dickerson, age 42, of Roanoke, died Monday, March 23, 1992, in a local hospital. He was born in Welch, W.Va., on May 13, 1949, a son of Paul Douglas and Josephine Tagnesi Dickerson of Vinton. He was schooled in West Virginia and specialized in Trauma Anesthesia. In addition to his parents, survivors include five brothers, Larry D. Dickerson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Gary L. Dickerson, Vinton; Michael G. Dickerson, Richmond; John P. Dickerson, Roanoke; Mark D. Dickerson, Richmond; one sister, Susan D. Berry, Baltimore, Md.; his maternal grandmother, Catherine Tagnesi, Vinton. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday, March 25, 1992, at 11:15 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Metzger, III. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Carder-Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford.
