OBIT - RICHARDSON, A.

RICHARDSON, AMY C. - Mrs. Amy Counts Richardson, age 73, died Tuesday, March 24, 1992 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by three sons, Rick Richardson, Rural Retreat, Va.; Charles Richardson, Columbia, S.C.; Dr. James Wassum, Newport News, Va.; one sister, Gladys Denny, Silver Springs, Md.; four grandchildren, Amanda Richardson, Cari Richardson, both of Rural Retreat, Va; Katherine Wassum, Andrew Wassum, both of Newport News, Va. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. J.N. Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
