COBB, THOMAS R. Mr. Thomas R. Cobb, Jr., age 69 of Salem, passed away March 23, 1992. He was a member of American Legion Post #3, Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mary Patricia (Pat) Cobb; daughter, Mary Sue Forest, Westerville, Ohio; sons, John P. (Jackie) Cobb, Roanoke; Danny L. Cobb, Salem; Roy Burton Cobb; Pulaski; Hugh E. Cobb, N.Y.M.A., New York; Robert C. (Bobby) Cobb, Salem; brother, Howell Cobb, Roanoke; sister, Betty Via, Vinton; also surviving are thirteen grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Salem with Father James E. Parke, Jr. officiating. Entombment will be in St. Andrews Cemetery. Christian wake services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Rescue Squad or O.L.P.H. Building Fund. Arrangements are being handled by the John M. Oakey & Sons Funeral Home, Salem.
