ANDERSON, WILLIAM N., SR. - Mr. William Neil Anderson, Sr., age 71, of Alderman St., Galax, died Monday at his home. Mr. Anderson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Neil, Jr. and Debbie Anderson, Galax; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Buck Gentry, Greenville, S.C.; Judy and Jim Lotts, Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren, Ellen Gentry, Jenny Gentry, Chanel and Rob Russo, Stephen Anderson; brothers, Foy Anderson, Bedford; Richard Anderson, Richmond; George Junior Anderson, Hagerstown, Ind.; Wayne Anderson, Smyrna, Tenn.; Fred Anderson, Roanoke; sisters, Lucille Higgins, Richmond; Irene Nickolls, Granite Falls, N.C. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 1992, in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The Rev. Jerry Phillips is the officiating minister. Memorial contributions may be made to the Galax Volunteer Fire Department or the Pine Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church.
