OBIT - PROPST, W.
PROPST, WILLIAM H. - William Howard Propst, age 55, died Monday, March 23,
1992, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born October 21, 1936, in
Hickory, N.C., a son of the late D. H. Propst and Mary Hudson Propst. He was a
retired insurance representative for many local insurance companies of
Lexington, a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church and the Lexington
Lions Club. Surviving are his wife, Jean Gwinn Propst; three sisters, Miss Mae
Propst, Mrs. Eddie Sternes, Mrs. Nevert Workman, all of Hickory, N.C.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 1992,
in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, officiated by Dr. L. Randolph Harrison. The
family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison
Funeral Home, Lexington.
