SPRING JAMBOREE TO BE HELD APRIL 1

Applications are available for people who would like to exhibit crafts and flea market items at Boiling Springs' second annual Spring Jamboree.

The jamboree will be held April 25 in Boiling Springs, which is on Virginia 18 near Covington.

Deadline for entries is April 17.

Applications may be obtained by calling 864-5745 or 747-3701, or writing the Boiling Springs Fire and Rescue Department, in care of Howard Paxton Jr., Route 4, Covington, Va. 24426.

Because of a copy editor's error, a headline in Wednesday's Extra incorrectly listed the date for the Spring Jamboree in Boiling Springs as April 1. The actual date of the event is April 25.
