COMPUTER USERS TO MEET AT TECH

The New River Valley Personal Computer Users Group will meet tonight at 7:30 in 331 Randolph Hall at Virginia Tech.

Joe Wiencko, project manager of Blacksburg Electronic Village will speak on the background, structure and dynamics of the proposed system, which is a joint venture of the town of Blacksburg, C&P Telephone Co. and Tech.

Blacksburg is considered an ideal location for a model system because of the high number of personal-computer users in the area. Electronic mail, access to data bases, home shopping and banking are some of the services possible for the project.

After the program, there will be a forum on computer use. Call Harlan Miller, 231-8484.
