BAT DAY '92 SATURDAY AT MUSEUM

The Virginia Museum of Natural History at Virginia Tech will sponsor Bat Day '92 on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Derring Hall on the Virginia Tech campus. Registration will start at 9:45 a.m. in the second-floor lobby of Derring.

Bat Day is an opportunity to learn about these flying mammals, what they are and why they need our help. There will be brief illustrated lectures with Jack Cranford of the department of biology.

There also will be games, stories, displays, crafts and activities for children to construct their own bat boxes. Lectures and activities are free. Optional bat boxes are $20 each. Call 231-6522 to register.
