SHEETS, ETTA M. Mrs. Etta Mowles Sheets, age 83, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 1992. She is survived by her husband, C. Lester Sheets; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Frances Mowles; granddaughter and husband, Denise and Bob Pollard; great-grandchildren, Matt and Tracy Pollard; sisters, Cleora Radford, Christine Sizemore; brothers, J. Lee Hill, Billy C. Hill. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with Rev. Wayne W. McCauley officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday. Arrangements are being handled by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad, the Good Neighbor Fund at First Christian Church, Salem, or the American Cancer Society.
