OBIT ADKINS, J.

ADKINS, JOE L. Joe L. Adkins, age 59, of Washington, D.C. and formerly of Boones Mill died Monday, March 23, 1992. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris A. Adkins and his parents, Noah and Minnie Adkins. Surviving are his sons, Michael L. Adkins of Clarksville, Tenn.; David R. Adkins and Kenneth L. Adkins, both of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Monroe Adkins of Ala.; two grandchildren. Services will be from Oakey's South Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Roger Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Franklin County. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12:00 noon Thursday.
