UVA'S NIT TICKETS ALL SOLD

Virginia announced Wednesday that all tickets have been sold for the Cavaliers' National Invitation Tournament game Friday night against New Mexico at the Richmond Coliseum.

School spokesman Rich Murray said 11,092 tickets had been sold by 6 p.m. Wednesday, less than 36 hours after the NIT announced its third-round pairings.

There is no television coverage of the game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. between the Cavaliers (17-13) and Lobos (20-12). - Staff report
