FESTIVAL IN THE PARK OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS

Roanoke Festival in the Park will award three scholarships this year to high school seniors planning further study in the arts.

Awards of $1,000, $750 and $500 for each year of higher education (up to four years) will be offered.

Applications, which must be turned in by April 15, are available through high school departments of art, English, drama or music, or from Festival in the Park. For more information, call Wendi Schultz at 342-2640.
