Roschell William (Mama) Hayes, age 64 of Vinton passed away March 24, 1992. He was retired from the City of Roanoke and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Overfelt Hayes; one son, William (Bill) Hayes; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Ricky Fore, all of Vinton; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Terry Myers of Huddleston; three grandchildren, Terry and Sarah Myers; Travis Hayes; brothers, Jerry Hayes and Carl Hayes, both of Roanoke; sister, Nellie Leslie of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 1992 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Freeman J. Hamrick and Rev. Johnny Wilson will officiate. Burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
