Mr. Edward Lee Tickle, age 78, of Roanoke died Thursday, March 26, 1992. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Salem and was teacher of the United Fellowship Class in Sunday School for 14 years. He was a retired employee of DuPont Company, Belle, W.Va. and was a member of Kanawha Lodge #25 I.O.O.F. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. E. Kathleen Tickle; one son and daughter-in-law, John E. Tickle and wife, Patricia Ann, Roanoke; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna G. Hewett and husband, Robert M. Hewett, Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren, Thomas E. Tickle and wife, Deedra; Heather Leigh Hewett; Bradley James Hewett; one sister, Marguerite Odetta Teates, Vienna, Va.; one niece, Marguerite Evelyn Harper, Charleston, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28 with the Rev. Robin L. Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, W.Va. 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
