WOMAN SAYS 3 MEN ABDUCTED, RAPED HER

A 42-year-old Roanoke woman told police she was abducted near the Wasena Bridge and raped by three men who drove her to Harrisonburg in a van.

According to police reports, the woman gave this account of the incident:

She was walking on the bridge when a black van with a white stripe down the middle pulled up in front of her about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. A man with a knife jumped out and forced her into the van.

As they drove off, one man started drinking from a flask and smoking crack cocaine along with another man.

The woman told police she was raped repeatedly and robbed of several hundred dollars before she was dropped off in Harrisonburg. She then notified police.

State police investigators were looking into the allegations Thursday.
