Dorothy Patsel Hess, age 80, of 101 Spring Beauty, N.W. went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 25, 1992. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Salem. She is survived by her husband, Howard K. Hess; one niece and husband, Dorothy P. and Robert L. Hartman, Sr., Roanoke; great-nephews, Robert L. Hartman, Jr. and wife, Judy; Steven M. Hartman and wife, Sandra; Thomas L. Hartman; and H. Benjamin Hartman; two great-nieces, Sherry and Sheila Cole; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Louise G. Patsel; Trennie H. Cole; two great-great-nieces, Kimberly M. Hartman, and Kristen N. Hartman; one great-great-nephew, Michael W. Washburn, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 27 with the Rev. Robin L. Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel Friday a.m. until time of service.
