The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mason, Sr., of Roanoke.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dillon, Sr., of Roanoke.
The church was decorated with pink and white floral arrangements and spiral candelabras.
A program of music was presented by Robert Chapman, who performed Trumpet Tune In D, Wedding March, and Rondeau on the pipe organ.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Southern style gown of white satin. The bodice was covered with hand sewn iridescent sequins and was trimmed with Schiffli embroidery. The chapel length train was trimmed with lace. She wore a two-tiered shoulder length veil attached to a headband decorated with silk roses and seed pearls.
She carried a bouquet of white carnations, pink and white roses, greenery, pearls and lace.
Maid of honor was Lisa Layman, of Ferrum, Va., long time friend of the bride. She wore a tea length pink satin gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations and greenery.
Bridesmaids were Norma Sink, of Hardy, and Wanda Ritter, of Burnt Chimney, both friends of the bride. Their gowns and bouquets were identical to the honor attendant's.
The groom's father, Donald Dillon, Sr., of Roanoke, served as best man. Ushers were Jamie Dillon, of Roanoke, brother of the groom; John Mason, Jr., of Roanoke, brother of the bride; and John Dezzutti, of Roanoke, cousin of the bride.
The groom wore a white tuxedo with tails, and the groomsmen wore gray tuxedos with tails accented with pink bowties and cummerbunds.
Beth Walker attended the guest book.
Ms. Mary Ellen Schrader directed the wedding ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Cave Spring Lions Club.
The bride is a graduate of Franklin County High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Holdren's Inc. in Roanoke.
The groom is a graduate of Cave Spring High School. He is employed by Holdren's Inc. in Roanoke.
After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in the Burnt Chimney area.
Prior to the wedding, the bride and groom were honored on several occasions: A Mexican theme party was given by Mr. and Mrs. Carson Young at their home in Roanoke on Feb. 22; a luncheon was given by Holdren's employees at the Franklin Rd. store on Feb. 26; a bridesmaids' luncheon was held at Charley's in Roanoke on Feb. 29; a lingerie shower was given by Mrs. Gina Young and Mrs. Lisa Layman at First Va. Bank in Burnt Chimney on March 7; and a rehearsal dinner was held at the Holiday Inn Franklin Rd. on March 20.
