PRILLAMAN-SIMMONS
Kimberly Page Simmons and Jay Prillaman were united in marriage on March
28, 1992, in Red Hill Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Ernie Deyerle was the
officiating clergyman. Receptions were held in the Fellowship Hall and at
Willow Creek Country Club. Lisa Sage was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids
were Amy Gibson, Caroline Overfelt, Julie Beatty, Lisa Rutledge and Amy
Colgrove. Brandi Cooper was the flowergirl. Brice Beatty served as best man.
The ushers were Ron Simmons, Jay Simmons, Carry Frommel, Mike Bryant, and
Johnny Pennelton. Chaz Edmonds was the ringbearer. Kristie Petty was the
guestbook attendant. The bride's gown was ivory bridal satin with heavily
beaded silk Venice lace. Kimberly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack R. Simmons of
Roanoke, is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia
Western Community College. She is employed by Leffler Veterinary Clinic of
Rocky Mount. Jay, son of Mrs. Shelby Winstead of Rocky Mount and the late
Wayne Prillaman, formerly of Elk Creek, is a graduate of Franklin County High
School. He is employed by M.W. Manufacturers of Rocky Mount. The newlyweds
will reside in Rocky Mount.
