BESS, VIOLA M. Viola May King Bess, age 80, of Roanoke, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was a member of Hollins Road Baptist Church and was a charter member of the Women of the Moose. Surviving are her husband, Jack G. Bess. Services will be at 12:00 noon Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. G. Mark Washington officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke.
