BOWLES, RUTH M. WIRTZ - Ruth McKinney Bowles of Route 1, Wirtz, died Saturday at her residence. She was the widow of Claude Swanson Bowles and is survived by a son, H. Melvin Bowles, Wirtz; two daughters, Isabella Holt and Dot Coon, both of Roanoke; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one stepgrandson. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 12:00 noon Monday, March 30, 1992, with Pastor Wilmar Wegner officiating. Interment in Timber Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Bedford County. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Sunday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
