OBIT WITCHER, E.

WITCHER, ELMA B. ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Elma Blount Witcher, age 88 and formerly of Darlington Drive, Rocky Mount, died Friday, March 27, 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Douglas Witcher. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Jewell W. Moran, Rocky Mount; one son and daughter-in-law, W. B. and Nancy Witcher, Evington; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Powell and Mae Blount, Pomeria, S.C.; Crowder and Louise Blount, Vinton; and Percy and Nellie Blount, Goodview. Also a number of nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 30, 1992, at the Arrington Bussey Chapel by Dr. Joe R. Bryant and the Rev. Melvin Harris. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Arrington Bussey Funeral Home.
