FLORIDA STATE MAY DOMINATE ACC

I'm sitting here watching Florida State easily handle UNC in basketball and Iam laughing. I'm laughing because at its spring 1990 meeting, the Atlantic CoastConference piously and pompously pronounced that there would be no expansion forthe world's greatest league. However, this tune changed within days as the Metroproposed a blockbuster league which might even relegate the overrated ACC basketball league to a lower level.

All of the sudden, Florida State became the next Northwestern in academics. What a laugh. How could the ACC be stupid enough to invite FSU into the league? The only time someone other than FSU will win a football title will be if Clemson gets a lot of breaks and calls in the year it plays FSU at home. Virginia or North Carolina beating FSU anytime? What a laugh.

Baseball, golf and swimming, FSU will win more titles in the next 10 years than all other ACC teams combined. Basketball? FSU has already shown what it can do in the ACC.
