KIDS CAST FOR NEEDY

Kids will be given an opportunity to reel in trout and help the less fortunate at the same time on April 18 at the Big Pine Trout Pond in New Castle.

The fishing is open to youngsters free of charge from the seventh-grade down, said Ellen Horn of the Hunter's Den, a tackle shop on Virginia 311 south of New Castle. All trout caught will be given to the needy and elderly, she said.

The Hunter's Den is collecting money to buy fish for stocking, said Horn. Additional information is available from the shop, 703-864-6701.
