OBIT PERDUE, A.

Alvis Vernon Perdue, age 76 of Roanoke, died Saturday in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Imogene Perdue; two sons and three daughters; his mother, Bertha A. Perdue of Roanoke; two brothers, Ellis E. Perdue of Roanoke; Louis C. Perdue of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Louise P. Ragland of Richmond; six grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Gene M. Hagenberger, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
