RADFORD GOLFERS 9TH AT CAMP LEJEUNE

Radford finished tied for ninth on Sunday in the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Golf Tournament on the Paradise Point Golf Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Elon College finished first with an 886 team total for 54 holes, and Slippery Rock was second at 890. Radford tied with UNC Wilmington at 915 in the field of 33 teams.

Elon's Tim Clark was the individual medalist at 217, four shots over par. Jason Martin of Union (Tenn.) University was second at 218.

Ryan Konkus' 227 was the top score for Radford, followed by Phil Fairbanks at 229, Greg Sayers of Marion with a 230 and Matt Farrell and David Martin, each at 234. - Staff report
