CROCKETT, FRANCES S.

Mrs. Frances Scott Crockett, age 90, of Roanoke died early Monday morning. She was the widow of C. Lucian Crockett, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Garden Club, and served as a volunteer for the Red Cross and the Mary Louise Home. Surviving are one son, Dr. Charles L. Crockett, Jr.; one daughter, Elizabeth Crockett Luczak, both of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Katherine Harrison, Sarah Eggleston, Cynthia Webster, Charles L. Crockett, III, Elizabeth S. Luczak, Mary Mitchell Luczak; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at First Presbyterian Church 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. James A. Beverley. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church or the Ronald McDonald House. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel or the family's residences.
