DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR TO SPEAK AT DINNER

Hugh D. Keogh, director of the Virginia Department of Economic Development, will address the 46th annual membership dinner meeting of the Wytheville-Wythe-Bland Chamber of Commerce April 9.

The 6:30 p.m. buffet dinner will be at the Wytheville Community Center. Tickets are $15. Soloist Nancy Ward will provide musical entertainment.

Keogh was appointed to his post in April 1987 and reappointed in January 1990. Before that, he had been president of Forward Hampton Roads, the economic development and marketing arm of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. He previously had been deputy director and director of marketing and communications with the state's economic development department.
