COALFIELD AUTHORITY DIRECTOR TO GIVE TALK

Charles Yates, executive director of the Coalfield Economic Development Authority, will speak on recruiting industry to the coalfields at the Scott County Chamber of Commerce business appreciation breakfast April 10 at 7:30 a.m. at the Duffield Ramada Inn.

Yates also is director of Southwest Virginia Promise, the authority's industrial marketing arm. Three organizations will be honored for outstanding contributions to Scott County.
