MOWER-LADEN TRAILER STOLEN FROM TRUCK STOP

Someone outside the law is looking ahead to the grass-mowing season.

Wytheville police say thieves stole a tractor and trailer from the Wilderness Road Unocal 76 Truck Stop on Peppers Ferry Road sometime Monday.

The trailer was loaded with thousands of dollars worth of lawn mowers.
