AIDS-WOMEN SEMINAR PLANNED IN BRISTOL

A seminar on women and AIDS will be sponsored by the Women's Resource Center at Virginia Intermont College Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Harrison-Jones Memorial Hall.

According to Mikki Winters and Becky Fleenor of Project HOPE (HIV Outreach, Prevention and Empowerment), who will present the seminar, women are among the fastest-growing groups of HIV-positive people in the nation but their special needs are being mostly ignored.

The seminar is free. People can register to attend by calling the center at 669-8754.
