OBIT EDWARDS, HELEN MUSSELWHITE

EDWARDS, Helen Musselwhite, 79, of Roanoke, died Sunday, February 28, 1993. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She was a retired employee from the city of Roanoke. She is survived by her husband, Hammett F. Edwards; daughter and son-in-law, Janice E. and Edwin D. Vest, Roanoke; grandson, David M. Vest, Roanoke; granddaughters, Donna V. Howell, Radford, and Kimberly L. Vest, Roanoke; great-grandchildren, Holly, Samantha and Ryan Howell; two brothers, J. Marvin Musselwhite, Vinton, and Ronald C. Musselwhite, Roanoke; one sister, Ethel M. O'Toole, Norfolk; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
