BUSINESS PLANNING SEMINARS IN RADFORD
The second and third in a series of three two-hour workshops on "Creating an Effective Business Plan," sponsored by Service Corps of Retired Executives, will be held 7-9:15 tonight and next Tuesday at the Norwood Center, 1115 Norwood St. in Radford. The courses are for business people determined to improve management of an existing business, those who are expanding an existing business, those buying a business, or those who wish to start a business.
The seminar will discuss the relationship between business plans and a financial proposal. A good business plan helps establish credibility with potential sources of financing. A clearly thought-out financial proposal shows a business owner knows what to do and how a loan will be repaid.
Tonight's workshop will address profit and loss forecasting. Next Tuesday's workshop will be on cash-low forecasting, cash analysis and the balance sheet.
Cost for the series is $45. For more information, call the Radford Chamber of Commerce at 639-2202.
