NATURAL BRIDGE STATION WOMAN KILLED IN CRASH

A Natural Bridge Station woman was killed Monday when her pickup truck crossed the center line of Virginia 501 and struck a dump truck, authorities said.

Esther K. Watkins, 47, was dead at the scene of the 2:35 p.m. accident, a state police dispatcher reported.

Her truck, heading northbound on the highway near Glasgow, crossed the line and struck the truck, then struck another pickup truck, the dispatcher said. It was not determined whether she was wearing a seat belt.
