OBIT NEELY, E. BURKE
NEELY, E. Burke, 78, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, February 28, 1993 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a retired employee of Hercules, Inc. with 33 years of service. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church and McDaniel Lodge #86 AF & AM. Mr. Neely was preceded in death by one grandson, William Greg Haley. He is survived by his wife, June Neely; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Sandra) Hite, Kokomo, Ind.; two sons, Ronald Neely, Chester, Va., R. Keith Neely, Christiansburg; four granddaughters, Mrs. Teri Blackman, Oxford, Ala., Mrs. Tami Shaffer, South Bend, Ind., Miss Tatum Neely, Miss Katie Neely, both of Claytor Lake; one grandson, Glenn Neely, Chester, Va.; five great-grandsons; three sisters, Oma Bays, Bridge City, Texas, Mrs. Harold (Rita) Harvey, Nimitz, W.Va., Mrs. Scott (Jane) Riffle, Charleston, W.Va. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the graveside in Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Pete DuPlessis with Masonic Graveside Rites by McDaniel Lodge #86 AF & AM. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Tuesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
