PEARISBURG COUNCIL TO MEET THURSDAY

The Pearisburg Town Council will hold a special meeting Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the town hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss renovation of the K.J. Building, expansion of the library and the possibilities of bond financing for special projects.

The next regularly scheduled council meeting is Tuesday. A review of the policy on refuse collection is on the agenda. Council members will review the current experimentation of once a week backyard collection and decide on future collection.
