OBIT LAW, RUTH ABIGAIL

LAW, Ruth Abigail, 75, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, February 28, 1993 at the VA Medical Center, Salem, Va. She was a retired Nurse 2nd Lieutenant, US Army, a veteran of World War II and a member of Sweet Union Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Virginia L. Hancock of Roanoke; brother-in-law, Richard Deane of Roanoke; two nieces, Helen Louise Miller of Roanoke, Margaret C. Porter of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two nephews, Richard A. Deane of Richmond, Sherman L. Deane, Sr. of Roanoke; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4 at 2 p.m., Sweet Union Baptist Church with Dr. E. T. Burton officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
