OBIT KIME, CLARA GOODWIN, ("CHUCKIE")

KIME, Clara Goodwin, ("Chuckie"), 85, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 1993, at Richfield Nursing Center. She was the widow of the late Warren Penn Kime and the daughter of the late Robert M. and Drucella K. Goodwin. Mrs. Kime was a long time active and devoted member of the College Lutheran Church in Salem, a life member of the Salem Women's Club and worked at Peacock Salem Laundry and Cleaners for over fifty years. "Chuckie" as she was known by, was loyal and devoted to her family, church and friends and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her sisters, Lena Long, Ruth Gresham, Naomi Dent and one brother, Leonard H. Goodwin. She is the stepmother of Penn Kime, Barbara Kime West of Salem; and the late Robert W. Kime. She had three stepgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as Van and Barbara Gresham and their sons, Van, Aaron and Bret. A memorial service will be held at the College Lutheran Church in Salem on Friday, March 5, 1993 at 10 a.m. with Pastors Dwayne Westermann, Robert Ward and the Rev. Paul Hendrickson officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the College Lutheran Church in Salem. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 1993 at 327 North Broad Street in Salem. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Salem Chapel.
