GET ON BOARD CLINTON BANDWAGON
THE CITIZENS of the United States, especially those in the high-income group, are the least taxed people of any industrialized country. We demand much in the way of government services, yet have not been willing to pay for them. As a result, our physical facilities and social structure have been allowed to deteriorate almost to the point of collapse. And we are mired in debt.President Clinton wants to reverse our present downward course, and he has the guts to get out in front with a plan of action. This is the time for Americans to quit their carping and sniping, and get on board.
Those opposing the president have no program. If we allow them to prevail, our future is dim. We now have a rare, and maybe the last, chance to bring about a resurgence of energy and spirit in our land. Let's get with it. BILL WOODS BEDFORD
