CUMBERLAND MAN CHARGED IN 6 DEATHS

The second man sought in the slayings of a Cumberland County couple was arrested Wednesday in Georgia and charged with those killings and four others in Virginia.

The victims were all shot in the head, and both homes were set on fire.

Michael Wayne Williams, 25, of Cumberland, had been sought on two counts of capital murder in the slayings of Morris and Mary Elizabeth Keller.

After he was arrested by authorities in Kingsland, Ga., he also was charged with capital murder in the Christmas Eve deaths of George Atkinson Sr., 47; his son, George Jr., 24; and friends Jeffrey Villalobos, 31; and William B. Cutter, 24, of Blackstone. Their bodies were found in the Atkinsons' Prince Edward County home.

Williams' brother, 22-year-old Johnny Williams, also faces four capital murder charges in the Christmas Eve case.
