OBIT PERKINS, ELISHA LEE
PERKINS, Elisha Lee, 69, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 4, 1993. Mr.
Perkins was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a retired operations
manager for Andrews Pitzer Butler with over 25 years of service. Surviving are
his wife, Frances Poland Perkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, William
(Bill) and Charity Perkins, Charleston, S.C., Wayne and Terri Perkins,
Catawba; two daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine and Russell Lee, Udall,
Kansas, Deborah and Tom Clark, Riegelsville, Pa.; a grandson, Travis Lee Volz,
Udall, Kansas; a sister, Dimple Turman, Salem. A graveside service will be
conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 1993 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with
the Rev. John D. Cochran officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of
flowers, donations be made to Hospice, 4910 Valley View Blvd., Roanoke, Va.
24012. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will
receive friends at the residence. Arrangements by Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
