OBIT SHEERE, THOMAS BISSETT

SHEERE, Thomas Bissett, 70, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 4, 1993. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He retired in February of 1992 after 40 years of service with Humphrey Products, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas. Surviving are his wife, Jewel Woodson H. Sheere; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Hensley and John Scott Repass, Salem, Peggy Hensley and Henry Thomas Hinckle, Hickory, N.C.; grandchildren, Matthew Guzi, Winston-Salem, N. C. and Katherine and Clay Guzi, both of Hickory, N.C.; Kathryn and Scott Repass, both of Salem; three stepgrandsons, Christopher Hinckle of Norfolk, Michael Hinckle of Germantown, Md. and Matthew Hinckle of Asheville, N.C.; sister, Josie S. Porter of Arizona; brother, William F. Sheere of England. Services will be conducted from Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Deborah Hundley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church Altar Fund, 1101 Franklin Rd., S. W., Roanoke, Va. 24016 or Boy's Home, Covington, Va. 24426. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 2 p.m. Friday where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
