CENTREVILLE TOO TOUGH FOR EAGLES

Group AAA Northwestern Region champion Franklin County won five weight classes but it wasn't enough as Centreville defeated the Eagles 37-22 in the state duals wrestling tournament.

Franklin County had five starters out because of disciplinary problems and was forced start six freshmen and a sophomore.

Winners for the Eagles included Aubrey Wright (140 pounds), Hasani Menefee (152) and Ricky Young (heavyweight). \
