OBIT KESSLER, MARY SHANKS

KESSLER, Mary Shanks, 83, of Troutville, died Thursday, March 4, 1993. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Ardith Kessler, Manassas Park; one brother, George W. Shanks, Elmira, N.Y.; one sister, Pauline Shanks Witt, Amherst; two grandchildren, Terry Kessler, Homestead, Fla., Brenda Kessler, Berryville; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 1993 in Daleville Baptist Church with the Rev. W. Nolan Teague officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daleville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
