GATEWAY CHRISTIAN WINS THIRD PLACE

Brad Ewing scored 29 points and David Arthur added 24 as Gateway Christian romped over Central 95-42 in the third-place game of the Old Dominion Association of Christian Schools boys' basketball tournament Saturday.

The top-seeded Crusaders (15-2), who lost to Mount Carmel 67-66 in the semifinals Friday night, jumped out to 31-14 lead and rolled to the win.

Sam Moore had a triple-double for Gateway Christian with 16 points, 13 assists and 15 rebounds. \
