OBIT AMES, HOWARD E.

AMES, Howard E., 94, of Shawsville and formerly of Salem, passed away Saturday, March 6, 1993. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian M. Ames. He is survived by his son, Robert A. Ames Sr.; a grandson, Robert A. Ames Jr, Upper Darby, Pa.; two granddaughters, Sally Hackett of Virginia Beach, Suzie Lister of Pleasanton, Calif.; two half brothers, Paul Ames of Salem, William Ames of Roanoke; one half sister, Edith Mann, Salem. Funeral services will be held in Ohio. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem is handling local arrangements.
