OBIT FERGUSON, OTIS F.

FERGUSON, Otis F., 82, of Route 3, Rocky Mount, died Sunday, March 7, 1993 in a Roanoke hospital. He was a retired tobacco farmer. Surviving are his wife, Viola Scruggs Ferguson; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Donald Ferguson, Rocky Mount, Paul and Twyla Ferguson, Penhook, Joe Ferguson, Rocky Mount; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Gloria F. Campbell, Richmond, Claudine and Creed Law, Martinsville, Janet and Douglas Perdue, Rocky Mount; ten grandchildren; four great-grandsons; one sister, Veronica Martin, Bassett; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Vina Ferguson, Henry; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Amos, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lawrence. Graveside services will be conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. B. Glenn Voss officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church or Snow Creek Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
