FOR AN EDUCATION, TUNE INTO LIMBAUGH

REGARDING President Clinton's plan to raise taxes:

History has shown that raising taxes has never helped lower the deficit. Why does he think it will work this time? Is it a lack of common sense on his part, or is it a plan to destroy the American dream by taking away the desire to succeed? As Americans, I suggest that we open our eyes to what is happening in our country. Let's fight for what made this country great, which is moral standards and belief and trust in God.

If you want to be educated to what is going on, just listen to Rush Limbaugh, especially you liberals. You may learn something. DAVID BONHAM ROANOKE
