2 PULASKI COUNTY BREAK-INS REPORTED

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating two recent break-ins in the county.

The first, at the Burger King construction site on Virginia 100 near Dublin, happened last weekend, Capt. Donnie Simpkins said.

Perry Dunford Construction of Wytheville reported Monday that about $8,000 worth of tools were taken after a padlock was cut off the door of the office trailer.

Items taken included a Honda generator, a Hilti core drill, compressors and assorted tools and equipment, Simpkins said.

The second burglary also was reported Monday.

Simpkins said someone broke into the home of Faye Kittinger on Anderson Drive.

Several items were taken, including change and jewelry boxes with watches, bracelets and other jewelry.

Simpkins asked that anyone with information about either break-in call the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office's Crime Line at 980-7810.
